Coffee Jelly is a chilled dessert made from coffee‑flavored gelatin cubes served with a sweet, creamy mixture of condensed milk and all‑purpose cream. It’s a popular Filipino treat because it’s easy to prepare, budget‑friendly, and balances the bitterness of coffee with the sweetness of cream.

Ingredients:

  • Instant coffee (or 2 cups brewed coffee)
  • Unflavored gelatin powder
  • Water
  • Sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Condensed milk
  • All‑purpose cream (or heavy cream)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

Step 1: Make Coffee Gelatin

  1. Dissolve gelatin powder in 4 cups water in a saucepan.
  2. Add instant coffee and sugar, stir until dissolved.
  3. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Pour into a rectangular dish and let it set in the refrigerator (about 2 hours).

Step 2: Cut Gelatin

  1. Once firm, cut coffee gelatin into small cubes.
  2. Transfer cubes into a large mixing bowl.

Step 3: Prepare Cream Mixture

  1. In another bowl, combine condensed milk and all‑purpose cream.
  2. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Combine and Chill

  1. Pour cream mixture over coffee jelly cubes.
  2. Mix gently until evenly coated.
  3. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Step 5: Serve

  • Scoop into cups or bowls.
  • Optionally add ice cubes for extra chill.
  • Enjoy as a refreshing dessert or party treat.
