Ingredients:
- Chicken (boneless, skinless pieces)
- Soy sauce
- Mirin (sweet rice wine)
- Sake (optional)
- Sugar or honey
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, grated
- Cooking oil
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Procedure:
- Combine soy sauce, mirin, sake (optional), sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the teriyaki sauce.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken until lightly browned on both sides.
- Pour in the teriyaki sauce mixture and simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens into a glaze.
