A flavorful Filipino beef dish cooked quickly with garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and butter, resulting in tender and savory bites often served with rice.

Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into cubes
  • Garlic, minced
  • Soy sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Olive oil or cooking oil
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Red chili flakes (optional, for spice)

Procedure

  1. Season beef cubes with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic until golden brown, then set aside.
  3. Add beef cubes and sear quickly over high heat until browned.
  4. Pour in soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, stir to coat the beef.
  5. Add butter and toss until sauce thickens and beef is cooked to desired doneness.
  6. Return garlic to the pan and mix well.
  7. Sprinkle with chili flakes if desired.
  8. Serve hot with steamed rice.
